Veterans Home

We began accepting veterans in the Spring of 2016 in our new Veterans Home on S. Howell Street in Rocky Mount. To date, all of the men we have helped or are helping were honorably discharged Veterans from the Armed Forces and were homeless at the time of admission. These Veterans are required to pass an interview prior to acceptance in the home. They must adhere to all house rules and develop a plan to move them back into mainstream America. Finding employment or continuing their education and training are the key goals. We also help them with their Veteran’s Benefits, as needed. We are providing counseling and coordinating transportation to the VA in Durham or Greenville for their medical needs.
